Our Story

Why we started Tahanan

We started Tahanan Care Home because we saw how easily older adults can feel lost in large facilities. We wanted to create something different: a place small enough to feel like family, yet professional enough to give families complete peace of mind.

The name says everything about our purpose. In Filipino, Tahanan means home. Every meal we cook, every conversation we share, and every gentle hand we offer is meant to make this house feel like home for the people who live here.

Our Administrator

Administrator and Owner

Our administrator leads with warmth and hands-on experience, personally overseeing care plans, staff training, and the daily rhythm of the home. Families are always welcome to speak with the administrator directly.

Experienced and Compassionate

Our caregivers are compassionate, experienced, background-checked, and trained in the daily needs of older adults. With a higher caregiver-to-resident ratio than most large communities, our team has the time to truly know each resident.
